Privacy Policy
We collect nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no accounts, no statistics, no banner. If someone hacked us tomorrow, they'd leave disappointed.
What we collect
Nothing. No accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletter, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no "we value your privacy" popup that clearly doesn't.
We don't have a database. We don't have a lawyer either, which is why this page reads like this.
What happens to what you type
It stays in your browser. Calculate computes your expression perfectly, then tells only you that it depends. Password generates password123 entirely on your device, which is somehow both very private and not secure at all.
Nothing is sent anywhere. Refresh the page and it's gone, like it was never needed. Which it wasn't.
Cookies
We don't use cookies. That's why there's no banner asking you to accept them. It may be the most useful feature on this website.
Clipboard
Some tools have a copy button. It writes to your clipboard only when you click it. We never read from it. Whatever you copied last is between you and your clipboard.
Hosting
Needlss is hosted on Vercel (the triangle). Yes, the triangle. The most functional part of this website is a triangle.
Like any host, Vercel may process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and time of request, to deliver the pages. This falls under Vercel's own privacy policy. We don't look at it. We wouldn't know where to look.
Domain name
Our DNS is managed by Cloudflare (the orange cloud). Ours is grey: we switched off everything it can do except telling your browser where Needlss lives. Even our cloud is underperforming on purpose.
Your visit doesn't pass through Cloudflare. It just gets directions.
Statistics
None. We don't know how many people visit Needlss, which tools they open or where they come from.
Until someone tells us otherwise, this website is both visited and not visited. We've decided not to open the box.
Data breaches
In the unlikely event that someone breaks in, they will find nothing. We would still let you know, mostly so we'd have something to announce.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of all the personal data we hold about you. We will promptly send you nothing.
You can also ask us to delete it. Consider it done. It was done before you asked.
Changes to this policy
If we ever start collecting data, we'll update this page before we do. We'll tell you clearly. Uselessly, perhaps, but clearly.
